According to today's "Rugby Leaguer & League Express" it was even worse than the 2,500 we thought on here - they list the "crowd" as 1,973. Rather interestingly, Martyn Sadler, in his column puts this poor crowd down to the game clashing with both the Grand National and Quins RU game on Sky v Bath.
If it was 1,973 for the Fart-own game, then I'm even more concerned about Thursday's crowd.

Think your right there about 1800 as I would say most of Quins RL fans (that are left) are pretty die hard so will come what may.
Wonder how many seasn tickets were sold this year, last year it was about 1100 recon some have hemoraged would be interesting to know, though I doubt anyone would like to say. |

Yeah i remember hearing the 1900 crowd being announced. My girlfriend and AFL fan laughed at us. But I think secretly she's converted, I heard hear yelling several times through the game.
Can't make this game thursday which is a bummer.

It was what i expected. Why would it have been higher when we only average 3500k for league games and the 4th round of cup is always low?

Think we've had even lower gates for this round before, although probably against non SL opposition. With Thursday in mind is there a statto out there who knows what size crowd we have to beat in order not to have recorded SL's (or our) lowest gate ever? |

about 1,200 I believe. Workington Town. We had 1,800 for a game v Hudds in 2001 which I believe is our lowest crowd in the SL era.. with 2112 being the lowest since we returned to the stoop (castleford) |

I'm sure one of the statto's will correct me but we played Gateshead on a Sunday lunchtime around 12.00 ko last time out at the Stoop and that was a miserable turnout for SL. |
