cant knock the club for trying to create a better atmosphere

not the best game to get it going though, not even scoring a try!

will take some getting used too and maybe they need to sit closer to the singers? could work well going forward but need to learn some of our songs too

Thoughts ? honestly ? NO NO NO NO NO .....get rid !! simple as. as soon as people saw them in the stand you could hear the 'oh no's' straight away....pointless having them IMO, they were just playing what they hear on the TV, playing songs our fans don't even sing to, at inappropriate times etc....sorry it's not for me it sounded like the south stand at Headingley today with the random tunes been blurted out.

Hope to god this isn't going to become a permanent feature, the fans on that sides haven't requested a band and myself and those around me as well as others i chatted to certainly don't want a band there !!!

Was it you in the toilets at half time saying that ? heard someone voicing a rather displeasing opinion of them being there and saying exactly same thing.

It's a no from me. Just never been a big fan. Can work sporadically, but i find that it can steamroller atmosphere rather than build it.

It's bad enough having to listen to some of the plonkers in the stand, never mind a brass band as well.

Not for me either, fair enough having them joining in with songs that the fans start to keep it going but like daz said they just played random tunes at random times.. If they have to stay and I hope it was a trial game.. Then they are fine as long as they just play along with the songs being sung otherwise its a no for me too

Agree with what Meast is saying, at times it worked and it got the stand going rather than the people at the back but sometimes they played completely irrelevant bits!

Seems a lot of people were saying they will move if they stay.. Where has this come from? Was it something to do with the fanzine Eddie? If not it seems strange that the club just decided this is whats needed

Nothing to do with the fanzine! We created an article with suggestions of how to inprove crowds and I can assure you a band featured no where with in that!

Oh good god - are you telling others what they want and what they should like again? How they should support, what they should smd should not do.
Last week - Moan "there's no atmosphere" moan "no one joins in the songs" moan "why can't we be like Leeds"
This week - moan the band is the wrong atmosphere" moan "they play the wrong songs" moan "we are like leeds"

At least it will drown out the childish drivel and foul language for those on that side of the stadium. And at least it means those of us in the other side can actually hear something from the Kilner bank instead of the usual silence heard.

It was the only sign of an atmosphere in the whole stadium ---- apart from the away end....
