Apparently you can get a train to southern cross which is a short walk from the stadium.

Or is it just worth setting off walking (which way?) and stopping at a few pubs on the way??

What's everyone else intending to do and where will you be having a little drinky?

Probably on that same train! Hopefully finding a spoons en route!

Getting to the stadium-
Walking-There is a safe, well lit and signposted walking route available from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Signage will direct you along the route. Please follow the ‘City Link’ signs. Download the Stadium map which shows the designated safe walking route. It will take c. 20 minutes to walk from the city centre.

Public Transport-There are a number of frequent buses from all directions to the Etihad Stadium. Direct services to the stadium are:

53, 54, 185, 186, 216, 217, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, X36 and X37.

At the end of the match buses will be lined up on Ashton New Road next to the South Stand, to take you back to the city centre, where you can connect onwards or celebrate a win. Based on supporter feedback, stewards will be on hand this season to help manage the queues more effectively at the end of the match.

Few of us Salford fans will be in spoons Piccadilly for 10ish. The Moon Under Water is the one on deansgate and not in Piccadilly, Not sure what the one in Piccadilly Gardens is called.

got a hotel in prestwich for saturday night then going to set off early sunday and park car near the ground, may well be 1 mile away but can walk that

Hope a few get in early to support Broncos, a win for the Catalans and they overtake us, a tidy win and they could stay above us even if we beat Salford.

Hopefully a bit of extra backing for London can get them to cause the upset.

BTW has a date for the game in hand, Catalan v Hull been sorted yet, guessing Cup Semi Final Day so hopefully we will have pulled a bit further away from both by then.
