| Right, here's one for the experienced Catalans visitors.
We're [4 of us] thinking of having our holiday in early September to coincide with the match. Would we be better:
1. Arranging everything through Catalans Sports Tours;
2. Arranging flight only through CST and finding our own accommodation;
3. Arranging the flight ourselves and using CST for accommodation;
4. Arranging everything ourselves?
All help will be gratefully received.

| We have booked for September and there is a festival on at the same time you will be lucky to get anywhere in central Perpignan.
Flying on the Thursday from Manchester on Bmi baby as the Friday flight doesn't get in till 10.30pm. It will be a day wasted, return flight on the Monday.
Hopefully the weather will be hot as we are going down to Coulierre on the Friday. Good luck with your booking as it will be a great weekend.

| Speak to Dave Foti and he'll get you a decent price for everything. Because Dave is around you will have a point of contact should there be a problem.
If I was going this is what I would do.

| Would stay down in spain around Lloret de mar or in the Costa Brava region and get coach travel up to Perpignan on the day which can be booked through CST.
Just think Perpignan is mega expensive

One of your posters says that there is a festival on when you play, if so you must be playing at the same time as us last season. Most hotels were fully booked up with the photographic festival but providing there is not a large number of you, you will probably get in at the CITEA it was a brand new hotel what just opened last season reasonably priced clean and comfortable with air con. An added bonus is that there are facilities in the rooms to make a meal if you so desire, If the flights from bmi M/chester are not suitable, try Ryanair L/pool to Gerona and contact Foti for transfers to and from Perps and Gerona very reliable from experience hth

| Go on the Giants organised trip with Cat Sports, ring, or e mail, usually stay in Loret
all transfers organised while over there, no hassle, you may get it cheaper, but all the problems associated with organising it yourself isnt worth it, l am just waiting for them to announce, and send me details.
Last time l went with them 08 they organised 2 trips 5 nights and 7 nights, both at same hotel
great place, good value.

first season we played there in 2006 it was early september and the festival was on then.
we got direct flight to perpignan and stayed in the hotel aragon, which was basic but enough for our needs. but a lot of other hotels, especially around le castillet and old town were full

We stayed in the Aragon last year but was full this year for the Photographic Festival and had to go in the new Citea which was good. Fwiw that festival doesnt half fetch the women out fantastic. BTW I think your club slipped up getting rid of Laws, thought he did a good job under the circumstances. Good luck with the rest of the season it will be a poorer league without you

| If you are still searching, a better alternative would be 2 nights in Girona. You can fly from Leeds (Friday) or Liverpool daily direct to Girona with Ryanair.
There is then a company offering very stylish looking accomodation and transfers to airport and match for £135pp.
Girona is very nice, very historic old town, typical med style outdoor cafes and squares, but also good spanish bars and 3 irish bars with sky TV at night.
Perpignan is nowhere near as pretty.
