With corporate sponsorship and financial support of paramount importance in professional sporting circles, exciting news of continued commitment from the Club’s major backers is a massive and timely boost head of the new season.
The Centurions resumed pre season training this week under the guidance of Head Coach Paul Rowley who is thrilled and delighted to again see a number of major and highly successful local sponsors pledging total support for the Club in its quest to regain Super League status.
Leigh Centurions enjoy a first-class working relationship with their corporate sponsors whose on-going support of the Club is invaluable.
Paul Rowley and his players remain highly appreciative of such top class corporate support and the benefits they provide.
The new season promises to be an exciting, action-packed campaign with Leigh Centurions’ profile again at a high level and the squad very much in the sporting spotlight following yet more top class recruitment.
The wonderful loyalty displayed by the Centurions’ major sponsors has delighted the club’s Board of Directors.
Leigh Centurions Operations Director Allan Rowley said: “I would like to thank all the sponsors who have remained on board for 2016 and welcome Palatine Paints and McLaughlin’s Kitchens to our ever increasing portfolio of quality businesses that support us.
“As a Club we take great pride in all our Sponsors and support them as much as they support us. We actively encourage them to network among each other, as well as encouraging our spectators and match day corporate clients to do the same, which is just reward for their support of Leigh Centurions.
“Without doubt we have had more television exposure than any Championship Club and more than a lot of Super League clubs. We have had a BBC mini-series, reached the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup quarter-finals in each of the last two seasons and on the way have gained impressive BBC and Sky viewing figures that stack up against our opposition and is just reward for our sponsors’ support.”

Mr Neil Bassett, Head of Business, Evans Halshaw says: “Our sponsorship at Leigh has been fantastic. Me and my family are always looked after superbly. The Leigh fans, the sponsors and the players have really supported our commercial partnership. Leigh are an up and coming club – they are a sleeping giant and 2016 could be their awakening. We want to be part of that.”
