Exciting few weeks coming up for us Leythers.

Now we have pretty much secured a top four finish to add to the silverware already on the sideboard we go into the playoffs in a strong position with not many injuries to contend with. While we are under no illusions we have a mountain to climb Paul, Neil and the back room team are focussed on Dewsbury next Sunday first and foremost but ready to take the boys into the lions den again and it's a mountain the lads have climbed before and are confident we can climb again with the help of the 18th man once more!!!

Some exciting communication will be coming out of the club over the coming weeks with details of quallity signings for next season to strenghten what is already a strong squad for what will be a very exciting 2014.

The next few weeks will see us begin to announce new strategic commercial partnerships and details of new and exciting ticketing and pricing deals and structures, commercial and corporate sales for next year so make no bones the BOM continue behind the scenes full steam ahead as we launch our assault on what will be a crucial 2014 Championship season which will take us into the next phase of our strategic buisness planing to take Leigh Centurions to SL.

I Wont go into to much detail but full time support staff and full time additions to coaching staff are being appointed as we speak as we put in place a infer structure that will help reduce the gap for when we finally step back up to SL were we belong and the BOM are excited by what is on the horizon for this great club and hope our supporters are too.

Don't forget WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!!!

After watching that pile of rubbish yesterday I was a bit depressed but having just read what Andy has posted I feel 100% better well done Andy good lad

Andy , as you know the Carolis ,support everything you and all the other BOMs are doing at our Great Club , and will continue to do so , along with the other Fundraising I am involved with , personally im extremely optimistic about our Future as a Club , and for next seasons signings , and sponsorship packages , along with Ticketing offers for 2014 .

I think the Club is in good hands now on all fronts ,and just needs the Supporters to show their faith in what you are doing , in the only way to Benefit the Club , with their FEET ,CMON LEYTHERS show faith , most who post on this Forum are already the Converted , its the Stayaways we need to Convince , which is easier said than done .

Love the vibe going around the club & town. The narrow loses at Sheffield & Batley won't extinguish interest and thus going into the play offs and next season I'm very excited for the first time in quite a while about the club.

I look forward to seeing what initiatives are being put into place with regards to season tickets because I haven't bought one since SL and can't afford the chunk of money up front. As I've stated previously recently I'd love to buy a season ticket for next season so I'm hoping there will be some payment options for the hard up man on the street to ensure we can spread the cost.

Looking forward to the future with excitement rather than trepidation for a change is something I'm very proud of and everyone associated with the club should be as well.

Serious consideration in everything we do is to make everything we do affordable to everyone and offer ways to spread payments and make everything as cost effective as possible for our loyal fans.

Some really good initiatives coming for fans which should reignite passion in those that may have lost it over the years.

The pride and passion should be back come kickoff time of the new season.

On that subject we are also working on some meaningful and lucrative per season games.

I appreciate the BOM are in the main "fans" as well and understand the harsh climate for everyone and I am pleased the club is looking forward in this area. It's refreshing to hear Andy.

Pride & passion has never been an issue for me, I've always been fiercely passionate about Leigh and proud of where I was born, raised and still live. Like you say it's about re-igniting this inside people who have fallen by the wayside.

I've always said as long as we can put a team on the field that gives as much for the shirt as I would if I'd been good enough to represent the club then I'm more than happy. The fact we have such spirit on and off the field currently is something that makes me very proud

Charlie, I don't need to say keep up the good work as I know you always will.

You make a very important point regards supporters while we can't simply expect them just to come back on promises and we hope the anouncements we make over the coming weeks and months will further demonstrate our ambition coupled with ongoing improvements to our communications and marketing etc.

It's fair to say the BOMs gaurenteed investment will help fund additional budgets also will our increased commercial activity and strategic commercial partners and new sponsers but without the people of Leigh and our surrounding areas there is only so far we can go so your 100% right we need people to vote with thier feet as we really are in this together it's not just some marketing buzz phrase it's a fact we are a big family and team.

I have to say that I have never spent so much time popping on here and the Centurions website. So much to look forward to on the field in the next few weeks and so much good stuff coming out from the club, I'm afraid of missing something new.
I'm on the hook waiting for news of new signings, new full time staff, the new fan name shirt, new season ticket deals for next season and who knows what else.
I've seen many ups and downs over the years, on and off the field, but this time seems like a real strong beginning, of a sustainable push forward. Things seem to be being done in a positive, measured and open way by the BOM, who have the passion of fans, the skills of keen business men, and the balls to invest their own money.

My concerns are around a few so called fans who have personal digs at lads who if they hadn't come in we would be in the sheeeite or simply not here, have we forgot already how Derek's genorosity kept a team on the park when we were about to default on wages or the winding up petition that had to be paid?
I was talking to Derek in 2011 when it all kicked off asking if he was coming back he didn't need the sheeeit then as I am sure he doesn't now but he has still done what he has because he cares passionately and has the cash to help
Our only chance is to stay united behind what is happening if we wish to have a chance of reaching our potential and I am very positive that the future is currently looking bright

Agreed. However, there are those who will always see the negative side of a positive. To be fair to them, they are entitled to their opinion and it's just up to others to ensure the positive message keeps ringing out, loud and clear, and get behind this BOM/BOD. They are being extremely generous with their cash, expertise and time. They deserve support.

I've always believed in judging someone by their actions and not by their words, and the BOD/BOM have got it right. I'm grateful for the time, money, and effort that they've put into this great club of ours, and I trust them to take us on to bigger and better things in the future.
