After last night LISA meeting and listening to the enthusiasum of young Ryan Brierley one of LISAs signings, and hearing how highly he speaks of the club and how it is run, how hard the training is and how much hes enjoying his name at the club, it make me proud to be part of it.
I think we will surprise a lot of people this year and when the coach is in place, which we was told is now subject to the border agencys approvel of one of the overseas applicants, add 3 dual regs /loan players, it will be a good squad.
Great news is Ricky Bibey is back in full training and looking good, only one who may miss the first couple of games is Jimmy Taylor who had an op.
The Friday night and Thursday Fixtures are happening so we have to move on and try and get to the games if we can, if work commitments say that you cant then thats not a problem, you can enjoy the away games just the same.
Let get down to Salford in big numbers and enjoy the season coming.

what was Trevors positive reason for the Fridays

Basically we had the draft fixtures form the rfl the week before they were released and the LSVco had highlighted the clash with the treatment of the turf which has to take place every season, this is a six week period, so the fixtures had to be altered to allow this. Trevor looked at all aspects of this including the corporate side of things and decided on Friday for a few games, he went to explain it further but I wouldnt want to get it all wrong, so perphaps someone else can explain it better.
