Wet ball, could we see a forwards dominated game? We allowed their pack to dominate the last time we played them at the LSV, which allowed them to get it out wide to their quicker outside backs later in the set. This was the first time this season that we have lost the arm wrestle down the middle. Will our forwards step up next time? RHP coming back will give us another dimension around the ruck when he is spelled with Duffs. Should we be targetting Worrincy? Maybe a few high bombs from Ellis and Riddy to his wing, with the chase team all screaming "attack his nut sack!!", that should unsettle him.

Wouldn't necessarily target Worrincy as if he catches one on the run then no bugger is going to catch him. Would be interesting to see Hill and Mills used a little wider as I think 'Fax are a little more vulnerable in the centres/second row (in fact on a few occasions last week Danny Jones was effectively defending in the second row, which is something I think we'd have to try and take advantage of).

We've used the tactic of kicking to Worrincy, before. As Matt says, the trouble with that is, if he catches it, he gives you problems.

If it's wet, I'd be looking to kick on the 3rd-4th for the first 25 minutes at least, putting emphasis on our quality kick chase, which compliments the kicking game of ellis in particular. I'd do this to settle the nerves anyway, and hopefully keep fax in their own half and let frustration take it's toll in a hit and miss side. From experience, you wouldn't believe how easy tackling on their 10-40 is! This would also turn the fax' heavy pack round a lot, and bring it down to a battle of fitness, which is one i have never seen us lose this year.

Down the middle with quick play the balls.

Dominate the ruck area.

Run at Penky, Jones and Black with our biggest, ugliest forwards on the pitch at full pelt !!

It is going to be one hell of a wet day. This should help Leigh more, because lets be honest, on their day, Halifax are the best attacking side in the division. If they have to force it, I can see us getting on top easily.

I'm sure Millward has it all in hand.
