As things stand with regards to Monday and the Salford game..........are we cleared to play or will we need to see some improvement with the weather before the police etc give the club the green light ?
Would be a shame to lose out on this game again when the pitch is perfectly playable and the surrounding area is as safe as it can be given the circumstances.

They were set for Boxing Day though with no undersoil heating and obviously Widnes is far more vulnerable to a nuclear winter. I've not got a ticket for Monday yet but I'm reasonably confident that it will go ahead. |

They've basically admitted they've got no chance of getting the pitch ready in time and have re-scheduled it for Sunday 2nd January. Obviously having a record low amount of acid rain to melt the snow and ice. |

Five day forecast for Leigh is light snow next Monday when I looked this morning. They take the reading from Warrington I believe so I guess it might be hanging in the balance.
Didn't the Salford game get postponed last year as well?
