| Leigh Miners entertain East hull to Twist Lane tomorrow afternoon 2-30 kick off, Miners currently sit in fifth place were they have occupied that position for most of the season and know tomorrows visit of East Hull is a must win game after losing out 18-14 in there last outing to Wigan St Pats. A win will keep miners nicely placed in the group of leaders in the top five going into a tough december were they visit Siddal, entertain Wath Brow Hornets and play local rivals Leigh East the weekend before christmas.
East Hull are having a mixed season upto now, currently sitting at the lower end of the table, but with winning 2 out of there last 3 and with players coming back from injury they will surely be looking to get one over the miners after being beaten 37-16 in the reverse fixture early in the season.
Miners 2nds are back in action tomorrow after a few weeks of due to the bad weather they entertain Ince Rose Bridge 2nds in the NWC Division Two.
The game is being played on the 3G pitch at Leigh Sports Village, kick off 2pm.

| LEIGH MINERS 14 V 4 EAST HULL
Leigh Miners got back to winning ways this afternoon with a tough 14-4 victory over East Hull, The conditions were tough for both teams and there will surely be a few tired bodies tomorrow morning. With both teams defending strongly it took a 25th minute penalty goal from miners Tom Bradbury to break the deadlock giving the host a 2-0 lead, miners scored both of there tries in the final ten minutes of the half the first coming from smart play from hooker Danny Jones jumping out down the right side to send Leon Brennan clear, Brennan beating the full back for pace to race in to score, Bradbury converting giving miners a 8-0 lead. The lead was increased further after smart play from half back Ryan Smith sent centre John Woods in to score on his return to the club after a short spell across the canal with local rivals Leigh East giving miners a 12-0 half time lead.
Miners opened the scoring early in the second with a second penalty from Bradbury giving them a 14-0 advantage. East Hull continued to work hard and got there rewards with a try out wide bringing the score to 14-4,Easts had a lot of field position in the second half but strong miners defence led my man of the match Danny Jones secured an important 14-4 victory for the miners.
Next week miners face probably there toughest test of the season to date when they visit third placed Siddal, if its anything like the previous encounter earlier in the season its sure to be another tight encounter between two well matched sides.

| Leigh Miners Seconds won Ince Rose Bridge 30 - 18. Was winning 30 -6 with 8 mins to go then Ince grabbed two late tries.
Leigh East Seconds beat St Pats 84-0! (I think) To score that many points is a massive task no matter who you play.
