If it's wet, I'd be looking to kick on the 3rd-4th for the first 25 minutes at least, putting emphasis on our quality kick chase, which compliments the kicking game of ellis in particular. I'd do this to settle the nerves anyway, and hopefully keep fax in their own half and let frustration take it's toll in a hit and miss side. From experience, you wouldn't believe how easy tackling on their 10-40 is! This would also turn the fax' heavy pack round a lot, and bring it down to a battle of fitness, which is one i have never seen us lose this year.
Run at Penky, Jones and Black with our biggest, ugliest forwards on the pitch at full pelt !!
It is going to be one hell of a wet day. This should help Leigh more, because lets be honest, on their day, Halifax are the best attacking side in the division. If they have to force it, I can see us getting on top easily.
