Quote: easyWire "It’s great that KR fans can pay to watch the whole match replay on their website.
For Warrington fans that live too far away to catch all the games (or are working) this would be a great concept.
As a big club is this not something we could look towards providing? If HULL KR can do it with a smaller fan base and less resources you’d think that we could pull it off without much fuss at all...'"
I've thought the same too, I'd certainly subscribe to it to get away game coverage at least, I have several family members who live a fair way away so would jump at it too I reckon.
I think Wigan also have a service, Casteford, Wakefield, Hull FC, possibly others?
Warrington, Leeds & Saints are notable exceptions for having a service given their stature in the sport.
Seems to be priced around £5/£6 per month or £50/£60 for the year. I would think that not only would you pick up revenue from subscriptions, but from advertising too?
Home and away games in delay, post match interviews, pre match build up (Could show it on the big screen / in the concourses at the ground pre match as a way of driving subscription sales).
Worth a question at the next forum?
