| conceded points that is of course..........
Could be a (club record??) < 14-points conceded in 4-matches??
My mind always goes back to the (at the time controversial) comment by Mick Monas at his Club launch night - "Warrington will never be a top flight team until they cure their leaky defence and that it would take 2-years to solve"...........
How right he was!!!!

| Without wishing to be too pedantic, one thing Warrington have ALWAYS been is a top-flight team.

| March 2011 we conceded a total of 18 points over three weeks versus Wakefield, London and Wigan respectively. May of that year we nilled Keighley, Castleford and Swinton back to back then only conceded 6 points at Headingley the following week.
We really were superb that year, yet didn't seem to be able to handle the high intensity knock out games.

| I hope our great defence continues but we should remember that in our 2 games prior to Salford & the Giants we shipped a total of 48 points whilst only scoring 22.

Definitely was our best season for may years, will always remember nilling three teams back to back and then going to Leeds the week after and keeping them to 6 whilst scoring 42. The last 2 games defensively we have been superb, Salford's try was an interception as well, we were unlucky not to win that game 46-0.

| Here's one for the slightly older fans. Anyone remember the time we went two consecutive weeks without conceding a try and lost both games?

I remember us losing 4-2 to Hull and 3-2 to Oldham (or vice versa) on consecutive weeks and that would be around 90-91, 91-92 seasons

Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!: |

And if I remember correctly, the Leeds one was a bit dubious.

| Aye, I think it was Buderus who dropped it when putting it down at the away end, it wasn't given over to the video ref. My abiding memories of that game are Monas taking on the line and putting a lovely pass out the back for Solomona to go over and Kingy kicking it on the right flank towards the end for Briers to score. Lovely.
