We have a fair few players out of contract this year and it worries me that non of them have yet to sign new ones. I was wondering how long the club will leave it. I do hope Lee gets at least 1 more year.

Until we know if Bradford are liquidated or remaining as a SL side, I would imagine.

I would expect it is more a question of the club deciding when it wants to release the news of contract renewals (and extensions on some that aren't due to expire as well). I'd expect all first team squad members who have expiring contracts have already signed new ones or have been told they are not getting a new one.

The one contract extension I have been waiting for is Tony Smith's.
His contract expires next year and I so much want the club to give him another contract.

still dreading the day Briers isn't offere a new contract. Mind you he is still bang in form and I wouldn't swap him for any other stand-off in SL..

One player, who's doesn't run out this year, has recently signed an extension btw.

But I have to say if I did the latter I could easily last for 20 months on water alone.

One commentator or other mentioned that Atkins had signed an extension to 2015 in a televised match recently. The fact that this has not been announced with a fanfare by the club seems to indicate that a lot has been agreed behind the scenes without any out-and-out publicity. Good policy if you ask me.

The club will obviously offer him a new contract, but whether he actually wants one or not is another matter entirely.

Naturally I very much hope he does.
