Does anyone else not think having it in mid february when it will be freezing cold with take some of the sense of occasion away? im thinking especially pre and post match as whos going to want to be partying in the streets of cardiff, mixing with other fans and generally creating a carnival atmosphere when its will be absolutely freezing (and probably raining if not snowing)

After a win against the Giants and a few beers I won't care about anything else. Think that our fellow
fans will take the weather as just another bit of adversity to deal with. It'll still be a great weekend imo.

I don't think the weather will make much difference. Everyone will be desperate to watch some rugby and im sure people have jumpers to help keep them warm. People like to moan about anything. Having it as 1st game of season will attract more fans than mid season IMO.

Maybe it will make people do what the event is supposed to be about and watching for full day. Rather than piling in watching one game and then standing outside a package pub and shouting at other fans. For the next 5 hours.

obviously some people only started watching when it became a summer sport,i remember freezing my nuts off in fletcher end when it was still a winter game,as some one as already stated put a thicker jumper on.

I've been to games in the middle of summer that have been bloody freezing, don't see the problem to be fair.

Cardiff will feel like Cyprus compared to Watersheddings for a night match.

I'm not convinced, my wife and I like to see all the matches over the weekend, it will be far too cold to sit in that stadium for more than one match, therefore, it is a bit of a not starter as far as we are concerned.

If we can sing in the rain at Castleford, I think we'll be able to dance in the snow at Cardiff.
We go to watch the rugby. We deal with the weather wherever we go.

I'll be watching it at home so I couldn't care less how cold it will be in Cardiff.

Anyone tries who watches all seven games in that stadium without a space suit will catch hypothermia, I think I will save my money and have a break in Perpignan in August.
