It seems that the RU equivalent cxovers southern hemisphere games each week and the strongest league in the world is getting nothing? even espn have declined to show. I must admit, I do miss it.

I miss the footy show on a thursday, then really the Sunday am games, used to watch them more than the Saturday ones.

You see the IPL on ITV etc, which is a bit from left field for ITV. I wish they'd gone the whole hog and thrown some moolah at the NRL.

I hope they sort something out soon, sounds like we're missing a brilliant start to the season while Sky show hours of 'Super' 14 a week.

I know its available online but its not the same, also makes it harder to bet on what is one of my favourite markets.

no just aslong as your signed in it will work and it aint amazing quality but its ok and better than nothing

Someone mentioned that the rights will be sorted soon. Anyone know who will be showing the games. I'm not intersted in watching it online.

I couldn't care less about Ozz football...It's all biff bash wallop and if we never played them again it would be too soon for me. I'm more concerned about the entertainment value of the game in this country which sadly, the more silky skills of the game are disappearing fast.
Kevin Penny is a case in point...he's not built like a brick outhouse so naturally is useless.

The last couple of weeks rounds have been on bigpondtv for free. All the games have been shown.

I'm on about the NRL, not the A-League and its certainly not as you suggest there is far more skill shown by the players than in Super League. It is by some distance the best rugby competition in the world of any code.

Agree with you about the lack of skills over here though, especially amongst the backs although the likes of Eastmond and Tomkins could be two of the best we've produced for a long time.

I also hear what you're saying with Penny, coaches seem to favour wingers that are 6 foot tall and can make yards on the first couple of tackles. For genuine speed merchants again see the NRL with the likes of Jennings, Morris twins, Yow Yeh etc.
