I think its worth trying again..

I agree, definately think it would be worth a try. Maybe it would even go some way as to even up the difference between the NRL and SL. Where would it be held though? Alternate between England and Aus every year? What about refs? We can't always let the Aussies hold us to ransom and demand an Aussie ref.

Going off last years standings in the play offs, how about...?

Manly V Catalan - Brookvale Oval
Melbourne V Wigan - Olympic Park
Leeds V New Zealand W - Headingley
St Helens V Cronulla - GPW Recruitment Stadium

Manly/Catalan V St Helens/Cronulla
Leeds/NZW V Melbourne/Wigan

Winners of those two games meet in the final at either SFS or Elland Road on an alternate basis.

Players and coaches already moan about there being to many fixtures etc, this would really pee them off
