But if the only way for Lowes to go is if the fans get up a petition, stage a sit in, etc, what does that tell you about the muppets on the board?

They hired him, they negotiated his contract, they should be the ones setting targets for him so they should be the ones who realise that they've signed someone who just can't cut it at this level.

That he did, but it seemed inevitable after a humiliation by SL's bottom club at Home.
