I reckon we'd be better off leaving Marshall in charge of coaching for now and getting a Director of Rugby and give them carte blanche to restructure the whole club without any interference from our CEO or any of the board members - then we may actually attract someone of Shaun Wayne's reputation in the game, rather than just another coach who fancies a handsome payday for 18 months.

It's been mentioned somewhere that Middleton is off to Aus. If there's a time when we really could do with throwing some money around, it's at a new coach. Holbrook would potentially be our best signing since Briers. Unfortunately I just can't see it happening though.

There was a really good episode of Eddie and Stevo's podcast with Briers where he was asked about his future as a coach and he said his interest was in coaching and development of young players, he didn't fancy being a head coach. He may have changed his mind but its worth noting.
