| Wire 22 Wigan 18.
A classic battle to the end, which will no doubt prove to be the undoing of my no-smoking resolution.

| My head says Wigan by 10 by heart says Wire by 6.
Its just so close to call. Wigan contained Leeds pack two weeks ago with some ease, so if i think we can get our forwards firing, they will set the platform for the likes of Briers to come into the game.
Cant stop thinking about the outcome. Its ruining my love life

| Wire 24 - Wigan 18
or
Wire 18 - Wigan 24
One thing I can be sure of though is whatever the result RLFans will go into meltdown with bickering between both sets of fans, accusations of cheating, bias refereeing, and player X (probably Morley and O'Loughlin) should have been sent off for an innocuous tackle. The winning try was a forward pass. Wigan fans spitting more bile about Briers and Wire fans spitting more bile about Tomkins. Cries of overpaid Aussies and kids not being given a chance. Fielden and Gleeson are a waste of money. Mathers and Higham are the worst player in SL.
And finally, both sets of fans being banned by both sets of 'over zealous' mods.

Wigan to be 1 point ahead with 2 minutes to go before a spectacular blunder from Mathers gifts us a try under the sticks to seal victory.

If there's any 'blunder', I doubt it'll be Mathers, more of a Briers/Monas pass being picked off as they try to force an opening with a pass that was never on, Tomkins or Richards going 80m, probably with 6 or 7 minutes left with us a score behind, that'll be one of those plays that leaves you with a 'fine margins' taste in your mouth, if he misses it, we're in two on one, he didn't, we're out.

| I have a bad feeling about this match too even with our superior pack I think Wigan's form of recent weeks will get them through (sadly)
Just hope it's not a heartbreaker ALA Maine Road with Lydon's drop goal

| If Wigan try to play us in the fowards like they did at HJ this year:
Wire 24 - Wigan 12
If Wigan try to move the ball out wide:
Wigan 28 - Wire 20
Classic game ahead whichever way as our forwards are better than theirs, but their backs are better than ours.
IMO the game will most likely be won or lost in the 20 to 30 minute spell when Carvell and Morley are off the pitch.

| Wire 18-12 Wigan.
Although every now and again i get the idea that we'll just blow them away with about 24 points and people will wonder what all the fuss was about, wishful thinking on my behalf i think.

| I honestly can't call this one. If we show up, especially in the front row, there's only one winner. But we certainly can't afford to offer momentary 'Wire' efforts in defence otherwise Tomkins etc will really put the pressure on.
I think simple things like which team scores first could have a massive impact. The reason I say this is that both teams will be nervous, and whoever deals with this better and sticks to their game will likely prevail.
But if I'm not allowed to sit on the fence on this one, I'm going with a Wire win, by 10 points. Max.

| Too close to call.
Four weeks back and this wouldn't have been an issue. Now, could go either way.
I agree with most. Morley & Carvell key to us winning this game & I think they will win that battle, but I also feel that if we Hicksy can match or even get the better of Richards then we cut there biggest try scoring threat from my point of view.
Wire 28 v 22 Wigan
