So what did everyone think of the new programme?

Like the size and shape but I'd like to see the teams on the back cover. Another observation is the text is very small. For instance the opponents, date etc on front cover and the predicted team line up's is difficult to read. Sort them things out and it's a winner.

Absolutely superb. Not sure who at the club thought it was pocket sized, though, was harder to put in a pocket than the old one! Minor complaint though, very good overall.

It's certainly a different size than any other soccer or RL programme I've ever seen in the past.

Hopefully it will be available for sale before kick-off at the next game!

Agree with 'The Red Shed' that the squad line-ups for the two teams do need to be on the back page, and that the font size is rather small in places. Also think that the fixtures and results page (mostly printed in red ink) is a little difficult to read (this as well as the small font).

One feature I'd like to see (which should be quite easy to do) is to include a summary of the last five seasons' results (home and away) against the opposition for that particular night's game, e.g. date, final and half-time score, scorers and attendance.

It's a great looking, really professional publication. My only grumble would be that there's a bit too much generic rugby league/super league content that isn't all that relevant to Salford.

I don't have much to compare it to because I haven't bought a Salford programme for about 10 years. To be honest I don't think the content is much different to those. And I think this format of programme is dead in the water, what with web content and all. That said, when you consider the production quality, the papers etc, the price is cheap for what you're getting. Really cheap.



I agree. There was a bit of syndicated content in there. It reminded me a bit of the programmes from 1996/7 (Super Mag?).



No doubt because its perfect bound and glossy. Both of which gave the programme a feeling of quality. Catch 22 is that.
