| Hi fellow reds, as a fan of 40 years and a regular follower of this first class forum I now feel the need to submit my first ever post. I have just bought one of Bills limited edition (30 only) Willows Memories books and I have to say it the best collection of images, new and old, of the 'grand old lady' and Barton that I have ever seen. It has provoked stronger emotions than even Salfords last match against Cats did. The book - it's really more than just a 'book' - and embroidered lap-top style presentation bag is of premium quality (plus extras) that will last a lifetime, today, and for future generations of our reds. There are pages upon pages of fabulous photographic memories, all aspects of the willows - some glamorous, some not so - that will be a constant reminder of what we are about to lose forever. Bill is a very genuine, top bloke and he is not making a penny - in fact it will cost him - but it's something he felt compelled to do, and only someone with his talent could have done it so well. When Bill delivered it earlier this week there were only 8 left. Other fans have enquired about it but when they know the price they are a little put off but I urge you to view it - it will sell itself, when I saw it I had to have it. With Xmas coming up it is a 'must have' prezzie for yourself or your family. The missus has already sent mine off to Father Christmas! to get hold of bill you can PM me, 'Billybradshawsmum' or 'read as red' for Bills contact details. All the best for the future to my fellow fans and sad as it is to leave the willows - cant wait to get to Barton. Cheers, Steve

| My abiding memory is coming to the Willows in 1996 as Challenge Cup holders for the previous 7/8 yr s and getting turned over. It was never expected and as far as i was concerned i was going back to Wembley, however I enjoyed a thrilling Cup Final between Saints and Bradford in which a future Salford player scored a hat trick (but still lost), Robbie Paul. Thanks for the awful memory Good luck at your new home

Hazzyisared is my other Scarlet turkey account...
Nice to see new people on the board. Might liven-up an already quiet start to the off-season.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

| The cost is £150 ,but for this you get the high quality, thick, glossy book (12" x 15" approx ) crammed with images, (prob in excess of a couple of hundred images)some pages have multiple pics, presented in an embroidered commemorative lap top style bag, a final match programme and ticket and a 'reds' pen. In my opinion this item is a must have (no, i'm not on commission) and to me it is well worth the money as I have my treasured memories in a quality presentation that wll last a lifetime, long after the Grand Old Lady is confined to history. I nearly had a tear in my eye writing that!
