Irlam Hornets are holding a Sportsmans Dinner on the evening of Saturday 19th November 2011 at Higher Irlam Social Club, Cutnook Lane, Higher Irlam.
The Guest speakers are Andy Gregory, ex Widnes, Warrington, Wigan, Illawarra, Leeds and Salford where he went on to become Head coach, He was also the first man to win the Lance Todd Trophy twice, first player to win five Challenge Cup Final winners medals, first player to play in eight Challenge Cup finals and the only player to play in six Ashes series for Great Britain against Australia.
Also on the bill is Former Salford Legend Mark Lee who earned a well acheived testamonial at Salford, he also played for St Helens and Swinton Lions.
Also on the Bill is Comedian and Host Steve Tandy for the evenings entertainment.
Tickets are priced at £30 per person or £300 for a table of 10. Time of event is 7.00pm arrival for a 7.30pm seating and start the bar is open till 12.30 last orders.
There is a 3 course meal and is a jacket and tie event.
There will also be a auction and raffle on the evening with some great prizes to be won and sporting memrobilia to be bid for !
It promises to be a great evening hearing about rugby league and the past of the legends in there lifetime experiences.
