| First Sunday home game of the season. Looking forward to seeing the thousands of fans who don't like Friday night games turn out for this one.

| well i will be cheering for you because you will need all the support you can get. wigan look like a very good team this season and that was very hard for me to say.
Still we only have to play them 3 times in the next seven weeks

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

Thanks for that, although I think we may need more than your cheering to turn them over next week

| Would be great to see 8000-9000 for this match but the club will need to pull their fingers out for this to happen. I don't want to be pessimistic after 2 great home performances on the trot but I really can't see us making it a hat-trick against the pies . Sod's law Goulding bags a hat-trick against us as well .

| I wouldn't be suprised if they out number us, with it being a Sunday and against Wigan and we've just won 3 out of 5 games is it? I hope we can get a good few fans on Sunday and get the shed rocking and get behind the lads, they deserve it!

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg |

I'd say there'll be about 6,500 there. About 3,500 from Salford, 3,000 from Wigan. Hopefully we can break the 7k mark, but I doubt it

| There should be a very good following coming from Wigan.
We've taken the best support(in league games) I can remember for a long time to all 4 of our away games so far at Wire, Bradford, Cas and Saints so i'd expect Sunday to be no different.
3,000 minimum I would imagine. Hopefully the crowd will break the 7k barrier because the Salford team deserves it after these past couple of weeks.

| If everyone were to bring a mate who's not been before/for a while, we'd double the number of home fans.
Simple.

| You know, for the first time this year, I'm genuinely excited about a game. Hell I know we're likely to get a drubbing but so bl00dy what. A properly dominant Wigan side are coming to the Willows for the first time in bl00dy years!!! That's not happened since I was a kid. In fact, it was 1996. And my word, we all remember what happened that day don't we kids.

My mind kept drifting to the Salford game during our win against Wakey yesterday and I couldn't help but keep thinking back to that famous day in the Challenge cup.
It possibly wouldn't be as big an upset if you won on Sunday but it must prove to be a motivation for everyone at Salford. If that Salford side could beat Wigan that day then why not this Sunday? (afterall we've proved nothing yet with this side)
After beating 2 very good sides in Hull and Huddersfield over the past 2 weeks the confidence must be sky high and with it looking like we've lost Roberts and Leuluai for a few weeks it's a possibility.
Looking forward to it.

| Oh how exciting is this!
This is gonna be one of those games that I enjoy despite the result. A top quality team on show. A team of underdogs just ready to have a go at them. A huge Wigan following. A slightly increased turn-out from Salford due to, A, we're playing Wigan and B, we've won a couple. AND, the return of Sunday rugby at the Willows... Hell, the sun may even shine!
