| I wonder if anyone in the know regarding team selection had a punt on the game?

| If I was a Widnes fan I wouldn't care less. They beat the team in front of them, next season people will only remember that Widnes won.
Wigan have paid the price for arrogance, unless the players are genuinely injured.
Well done Widnes.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg |

| Think people are making a lot out of this, Wigan have a squad of players that are there to be used. They were 36-18 up at one point and should never have lost the game, the team they put out was far stronger than Widnes on paper so full credit to Widnes for beating what was still a very strong Wigan team

| Surely that's the point of a squad, you pick your team from those in the full squad not just the so called 'first 13'. How else are you supposed to give young talent a decent shot at first team rugby. Gaffer thought they were still strong enough to win, he gave them the chance to prove themselves and they failed miserably. Fair play to Widness they took advantage.
Personally i wouldn't care if they did the same to us you can only beat what is in front of you, at the end of the season if two points gained like that get us into a playoff place would you still be moaning? doubt it..

| Don't see the problem ... not convinced that was an unexceptably weak team. If they want to utilise their squad let them. Nobody would complain if they'd done it against a better team.
