We applaud you, your post is a measured assessment of the current situation, we do not expect to be winning the majority of games especially at St Helens and to an extent against a good Wakefield side but we should be competing!!!

Get the basics right, close the kicker down, improve our own in-play kicks, install a proper full back ( Fitzy has our utmost respect but he is not and never will be a full back), use dummy runners, stop the off-loads, don't play people out of position even if this means playing youngsters, make every effort to get up and play the ball quickly. If the supporters see the team applying these basic requirements (every other team seems to do these things to us!) then they will give the team every backing, we have no automatic right to be a success and if we finish bottom due to the ability of other teams then so be it but we must compete!!
