The didn't announce the Stobart deal until the back end of January this year.........expect the same for the coming season. |

Pretty dysfunctional the RFL then. EVen a beer sponsor would be better than zero. Terrible. Who was the worst administrator, Bill Fallowfield or Nigel Wood?

It is pretty amateurish. This should been sorted when it was announced that Stobart were no longer going to be the primary sponsor of the league.
Npower are always good for sports sponsorship, but i guess that is too bluchip for RL. It will probably the Big Soup Super League.

Nothing. But it will more then likely be the Big Soup brand rather than Heinz. |

Because the fixtures are for the 2013 season!
The fact Stobart where happy to announce the end if their deal pretty early would suggest that they where happy for the RFL to press ahead with replacing them.
Plus I'm sure a few clubs wouldn't mind any sponsor money in for the off season! |

The Big Soup Super League kind of sounds like a gimmick/joke league. If RL wants credibility in the sporting world i'm not sure it needs something that will evoke ss from inside and outside of the sport.
Anyhow its a moot point. It should've been sorted and announced when the fixtures are released. Its publicity any sponsor is missing out on and therefore reducing money any would willing to put in |
