| Looks a long non season for the Vikings.
But they WILL have all the SL standard players ready to sign if they get the nod won't they.
3 years to "prove" themselves in SL , after spending 1 year qualifying and the the next 2 going through the championship motions.
The IMPORTANT things are there though, coloured bog seats, financial acumen  , a stadium of "quality", a community system of repute.
If the Vikings DO get the nod, then all the best of luck avaialble.

It's a joke if Widnes get in. They failed last time, were financially inept, are not beneficial in terms of geography and they are rubbish on the field.
Other than the fact that they rent a Council run stadium and aren't bankrupt anymore, what do they add?

I'm so sick of the focus on being on stadiums. Yes, ours is outdated, but we're trying to fix the issue. In this current economic climate there are going to be some bumps in the road. Isn't rugby league a sport? In terms of support, youth development, playing capabilities, etc etc etc... we beat all of those teams. |

I never mention stadia or getting rid of expansion clubs.
I prefer grounds like KR, wakey and cas.
Can we not have a league of 18 and let featherstone in as well

No because there isn't enough good players to go around and there's already too many teams with too many overseas players, 14 is the most the league could handle at the minute. |
