did they miss the point it isn't an Australian competition? Both NSW cup and NRL are bi nation competitions.
They should have called it the Asutralasian RL and included reps from NZRL and PNGRL. A body covering all levels of the game and driving the entire region forward would have been revolutionary.

the ARL isnt being disbanded
its consitution is being amneded and it will continue.

Agree......100%.
I unreservedly aplogise for nearly PMSL at the suggestion that the up and under/bomb was a tactic RL got from Gridiron and especially for dwelling on it's comic nature for far too long.
Never mind that dm jumped all over me on many occasions when backed up by various (now retired) posters...let's live and let live, get back to supporting and posting regarding the greatest game and voicing our own opinions as to what might happen.
This includes reasoned debate, not warped history lessons and preferably not linking any and every story from the SMH.COM.AU.....
ARLC is a start.....but let's see exactly howe independent it is before passing judgement on it.
