Eels tried it last year and looked what happened. More importantly look what happened when they moved him back to full back. Just check the stats difference and you'll soon forget this idea.

there is no natural replacement for Lockyer on the horizon. It will be Thurston at 6 and Cronk at 7. Still light years better than anything we have got but not as effective as a Lockyer/Thurston partnership.

Not really, I think he looks more comfortbale at 6, allowing Pearce and Anasta to control the games at the Roosters. IMO you might aswell try him at 6 rather than put Thurstan there as JB suggested. He's played at 1 and 6 all year and he's in contention for the Dally M, so he must be doing something right. | | | |
