| I'd be surprised if they did. Mind you it will be middle of the night, keeping up with BBC rugby league policy.

| I like the idea of the double header in NZ, i think that could be a big success. England V PNG and Aus v NZ on the same day. That would be awesome to see.

Agree 100%. If that doesn't sell out we are in a realy bad way.
They need to start marketing it right away and pushing ticket sales.

It was announced at the Super League Launch in London. But to correct the original poster they won't both be England games. The BBC have the same rights as last years Four Nations. One England Game + One of the other games not involving England - both games to be shown Live.
Also the matches wouldn't be middle of the night - they'd be mostly likely Live at Breakfast Time. Depending on the clock changes (which work weird because we go back they go forward and on different weekends) 7am/8am for matches in New Zealand or 8:30am/9:30am/10:30am for matches in Australia.

| Shambles is correct. It's going to cost a whole lot more to do the 4 weeks. Why oh why couldn't England play PNG in NZ the week after playing NZ at Wellington then play Australia in Melbourne last match then onto the final in Brisbane. As it stands now to see all England games there's 2 flights Aus- NZ instead of 1. Total incompetence

They're right though, it is a complete shambles. Who came up with the stupid idea of a double header in what's supposed to be a major tournament, thereby turning an International clash into a curtain-raiser?? There's only one way to describe that: M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!!!

| Exactly, no need for a double header, it will reduce income from ticket sales and reduces the opportunity to spread the game. How hard can it be to sort out a small number of fixtures ffs?!

| If we get 45,000 plus I don't see how the double header will be anything other than a success.
Having said that, I would prefer individual matches in the traditional sense.

After reading your post am I right in thinking you expect England to be in the final???I would like a little wager that they wont....no way the poms can beat NZ down under.

No mate. What I,m saying is England v NZ (Wellington) then v Australia (Melbourne) and then v PNG (Aukland) .Lot of travelling there.Between NZ and Aus. And as for the 4 weeks, no I didn't mean England in the final, but hey going all that way surely you would take in the final not to mention getting to NZ a few days before the tournament starts.
