How bad was Dave Woods on this program? I had to cringe when he was taking the mick out of the French commentators and then couldn't even get the Cas try scorer right himself. Why the BBC employ and constantly use him I will never know.

who was the other guy doing the Wigan/Bradford commentary, he was worse...
he got 4 or 5 names wrong, including "Paul Deakin" and seems to think Amos Roberts is called Robert Amos. He also got Riddell and Paleasina mixed up (but that is more understandable!) |

Only problem is that some older players are still good. For example, Matt Gidley is 31 years old and 32 in July, and he is IMO the best centre in Super League.

I don't really think we need an age limit, if a player is quality and gives value for money his age is irrelevant.

maybe if it was brought in and younger players were given the opportunity that wouldnt be the case. |
