| Quote ="Smiffy27"It does make me smile a bit when RU is portrayed as a "posh" sport cos they obviously haven't been to some places I've been. RL will always have a problem when it's crowds are so low. Sky threw money at us in the early days but I'm afraid they have other options now.'"
Is this not why IMG have been brought in, to help grow and make it more appealing. It’s going to take a long time for sure it’s not an over night thing. The continued bleating by clubs over grades etc they just need to get on and work on the improvements required and let IMG get on with other stuff.

I bear them no animosity as a club, but I REALLY hope we put 80 past them on both games, because of that Yorkshire winker, who nearly got us relegated, and decimated our playing roster, as some of them were "bad apples". Irony lost on him, then.'"
Got a funny feeling that he will be hoping for 2 similar score lines in our favour..

| In my opinion, the 6 tackle rules has been strangling our game for years with too many repetitious kicks to end sets of six. Even the RFL brought in set restarts to give a team more time with ball in hand. How about increasing tackles from 6 to 10 ? Give teams more time to construct an attack.

Imagine having done nine tackles, only for Liam Moore to then yell "10 again!"

| Well ,for a start you get rid of the six again rule which is difficult for spectators to follow & go back to a penalty kick.

Radical, but the fatigue of the defensive side has to be considered, and 6 again (or 10 again) rule on to of 10 tackles.
Not so sure it would benefit the game or player welfare having a team defend 16 or 20 tackles or more in a row.

I'd like to see this. The penalty for holding down is far more severe when the opposing side gets either a 25 yard punt to touch and 6 more tackles from an ordered start or a chance of 2 points.
Right now sides have very little penalty for holding down early in the tackle count, almost encouraging it, and it's ruining the spectacle of the game.
