But back to Barlow, given that he's one of their better players, I was just posing a question as to how big an impact on Leigh's season it would have if he's absent for some or all of 2016

[size=200IF[/size he is found guilty then it will be a Leigh issue (not a major one just the club will have to consider if it needs to get involved to take any action against him ourselves) until then it's nothing. Barlow is an excellent player, his offloads are superb I've never seen anyone offload like him. However he is currently out with a long term back injury so we're not expecting him to play for a while which will mitigate any impact losing him will have.

Definitely ridiculous that the Championship clubs are allowed to spend exactly the same as the SL clubs. After all its not as if they play one another in a mini league for a quarter of their season to determine promotion/relegation is it now.....

Does sustainability not come into it? Will Leigh go bankrupt again at the end of the season if they don't succeed in the eights again?

If a SL team got relegated, they would have more to,worry about on that score I reckon,

Leigh could lose a few players and should still walk that league

I certainly wouldn't be discounting Bradford - especially before the season has even started!
