I can see any new owner having to buy both OKBulls (Licence, Ground, Player reg's etc) and BB2014 (Staff contacts) just to make sense of it.

I'd personally be OK with some kind of fudged solution just to get through this mess. But it could be open to legal challenge by a club who ended up getting relegated, should Bradford survive and thrive.

well the answer to that seems to be whatever someone pulls out of their ass next because the players work for BB2014 according to RHP, so would need to be tupe'd back to the old business then registered and insured. Right now all the Bradford Bulls players work for a company which doesnt play Rugby League.

...and quite possibly the issue of which business received the recent £300k Sky payment and which business banked the matchday takings from the home game versus Cas ? Was it OKB (via the administrator) or was it BB2014 (who had temporarily assumed ownership) ?

OKBulls is what is in the hands of the administrator that has the licence, the ground, the debts, the lease, and I assume the players registrations.
The staff unfortunately were according to RHP (The CEO) TUPE'd across to BB2014. BB2014 now has no RL club for them to play for.

So players will be tupe'd back again. They will be free to leave once again.

You cannot TUPE INTO a company in administration.
OKBulls are in administration.

Surely any deal will have a cooling off clause, assuming this has been invoked in time, the players would automatically return to being employees of okbulls, and this run by the administrators again? This is the only way around the TUPE problem I can think of, and RHP says the players contracts are with the administrators ...

I hope he is right as it at least makes the situation slightly less messy.

Hopefully, that is unless the players give up and walk away (I'm not sure what the legal position of that is ... ) - either way IF that is the case, then we are where we were, and a buyer for okbulls is needed and nothing more ...

You can agree to set up a new business, you can agree to buy another business, but surely until exchange of contracts nothing legally ever changes hands?

I agree it's a bit messy, but if I offer to buy your business out of admin, but then never pay for it, then I have never bought it.

Interesting that Bradford City are also interested. If they bought the club would that qualify as a return to the original Bradford? I recall the original Bradford turned to football I just can't recall if they became Bradford City. Now that would be going full circle.

It would also solve issues like the ground etc. Of course had the RFL shot the Bulls down before the season opened, which is Smokey's prefered option, no one would be able to offer to buy the Bulls.

Owing to how mark Moore proposed to buy the club, the transfer of assets occurred before the deal was finalised.

It caused a bit of a mess when they pulled out.

The administrator always gets paid and they would be happy to sell the family silver to facilitate this.

On the subject of Bradford City getting involved.
The Bulls fans seemed very much against this last time as it was also muted that the 2 sports would ground share at Valley Parade.
Having said that, the position appears more serious now and maybe this could be a good solution ?

I can see the the Bulls being docked 6 points and been fined for playing ineligible players
