You could be wrong and you are wrong about Trent Barrett.

Todd Carney has been proven physically and mentally brittle. Plus he is not successful with women. That is not the case with Gregory Bird. There is no comparison. Gregory is a tough hombre. And he comes well equipped with the former Becca Rochow. Look out for a rejuvenated Catalans team in 2017.

He didn't appear that successful with Katie Milligan or Lara Bingle.

With the value of the pound plunging, Catalans paying players in Euros and the salary cap limit in pounds. I would expect Catalans to have a lot of room left on the cap.

Every year Jean you make an announcement regarding the player that's going to make Catalans the champions that year. As of yet it hasn't materialised. Catalans have a deep routed culture issue that they need to address. One player isn't the answer nor is a team full of washed up second rate Aussies.

Steven Menzies was 39 when he retired. Gregory Bird is as fierce a competitor as Steven, and will inspire his team to reach new heights that Hull FC can only dream of.

I spend so much money on home games that, like most Frenchmen, I cannot afford to travel to away games.

However I have a friend in Wigan whom i can stay with, when I want and am able to afford to fly abroad to see Morgan and Romain playing at their new home ground, and Eloi and Antoni at their new home ground nearby.
