Sounds sensible. I'm assuming that this would also over rule the blood bin rule if the hurt player was also bleeding?

Well yeah it would as a blood bin is basically just an instruction to leave the pitch to get treated, its up to the club to sub him or not (knowing it counts towards the 12), but if its as a result of an on report, yellow or red card incident then its a free interchange
