excellent post. i'm interested in how the policies relate to sport, but more about how they relate to the money in my pocket!
hence why i'm getting my challenge cup final ticket from www.challengecuptickets.com - small booking fee, then the knowledge i'll get a ticket at face value... brilliant whoever you support!!
p.s whatever happens make sure you use your vote! people have fought for the right to vote and still do in some places!

Why would I want to pay more than face value for a final ticket? I can get one at face value from the RFL, and all the money goes to the game!
I think we have to be realistic (and all sports). After the election there's going to be a huge tightening of the public belt. Sport and culture will be one of the first, and most deeply cut targets. If you really want your rugby to influence the vote, you simply need to know that the RFU=Conservative. If that works for you, tick the blue box.
On a separate issue, anyone who thinks hung parliaments and coalitions result in a mess is historically ignorant. But that's a sinbin thread, I'm sure.
