Anyway we could do with some sort of scandal to raise the profile of the sport going into the play offs. We are losing ground massively last week Cricket made the first move then that bloodgate doctor got the kick and clap rubbish on the 6 O'clock news (Lead story on ITN). Then yesterday Football reaffirmed it's status as the country's most popular sport with a call girl alleging that she's been servicing Rooney behind Coleen's back.


Considering the play offs start this week you'd have thought even a moron would see the value in a public scandal this week? Come on RFL get a grip. The Newton hGH affair at the start of the year was a master stroke and a World's first but it wasn't pushed nearly enough for me. The timing was spot on though to coincide with the start of the season.

Surely the game needs a scandal this week. Maybe we could get CCTV footage of Adrian Morley pushing a cat into a wheely bin? Are there any girls out there that fancy tapping into Nick Fozzard?

We could do with a referee out on the p!$$ the night before a big match or something.
