as fans we need to do something about the poor atmosphere at home games. am sure that we have at least a few people out there who went to get behind the team and give their vocal support. there seems to be too many boring oldies at the home games nowadays who moan if you shout. it seems that the fans who are wanting to get a gd atmoshere going are scattered about the ground when we all need to be in one part of the ground something needs to be done. whats your veiws ??

before we went to valley parade the atmosphere was good though so this cant be the only problem

The songs need to lift the team and the supporters, they need to entertain and maybe inject hummour. Once you have cracked this formula, you need to transfer this information to other supporters. This could be done by this forum but if you take Manchester United who are very good at developing new chants, the head of the supporters club who comes up with a lot of them takes them to a pub near old trafford where the other supporters can learn them prior to the game. Would that work in The Top House?

This has been discussed before though with comments about the popular side not being suitable for promoting chanting with its openess, the loud speakers drowning the initial excitement following a try and the fact that the away support normally delivers on the chanting front

a drop in average crowds by approx 5-6000 people might effect the chanting

yer the drop in crowd obviously wont help but we still get enough there to make a decent atmosphere but no1 seems interested. and ive got a few songs most people wont know but ive tried singing them with the group i go with but they dont catch on odsa fans for u.

Those that want to make some noise need to be stood in the same place so they can sing in unison. Perhaps there needs to be an area you stick to every week. Or maybe you should go and stand where the most noise comes from if you want to sing.

where is the most noise cos i dont know ? like you say the people who want to make noise get together in one place i think directly behind the tunnel half wat up would be a perfect little spot

I can't stand the noise to be honest. I just like to go and watch a match with a nice pint of beer and relax on a Sunday afternoon.

It gets worse at Odsal you go in and they've got music on real load through them speakers. It's all that modern rubbish it's just noise.

Then they get a turn on. They're usually quite good but the volume is too load you can't hear yourself think.

Then you get kids screaming when the team gets near the try line. Maybe they should ban kids?

your getting silly now lol its proven a team performs better if their fans are behind them we need to do something about it

Probably the right area, either side maybe not.

If it generates some atmosphere then great, the only things I'd ask are:

1. That the songs about Leeds are reserved for when we're playing them otherwise it sounds like we're obsessed.

2. That we don't have any stupid swearing or racist stuff chanted.

dont just say good look stand their with us and make i happen. tbh other than the rhino songs we have about four chants another room for improvement. but for now lets concentrate on the come on uuuu bulls, oh when the bulls go charging in and we love u bradford thats a start

Surely the salary they get paid in part by us is motivation enough to perform?
