Quote: Asim "Indeed, don't get me wrong, he isn't a person I particularly like or have any fondness for.
I am not saying that we simply forget the errors he made at, and moving towards, the end of his time but, for the most part he led a progressive, successful regime. I am not denying or forgetting that if he hadn't squandered the Odsal settlement windfall or signed Harris to spite Hetherington we'd probably in great financial health now.
If these "few names" have agreed to work with him it very much does make him a legitimate option when these people have knowledge, experience and expertise that is sadly lacking and very necessary in the club's current predicament.'"
I do get what you're saying and similarly have a desire to see such people as Tasker or Noble given the chance to offer their consultancy services. I think the club is in need of some impartial advice from people in the know.
Further from announcing these names in the press though, I don't see any kind of plan from Caisley. I'd like to have details of who will be coming on board, what roles they will be performing and what the end game is rather than vague talk of a review.
One thing I think we all agree on is the need for review and change. We certainly can't go on as we were.
