Quote: Asim "The likes of Agar, Tasker and Noble are the types of people I'd want helping move the club forward from where we are at the moment.
Caisley? Not so much, but if he is the man bringing them together then so be it, we also have to remember that prior to the mess that the Ietsyn Harris case turned out to be and the legacy of the way the Odsal settlement was spent the club had gone places under his leadership.
I've seen a few comments about losing goodwill because Caisley rubbed people up the wrong way and offended people, that's undoubtedly ture, but only because he was in charge of a club doing well. Hood has made similarly ridiculous comments to the press (suing the RFL, demanding two points because of a refereeing error) but is just thought of as a laughing stock by the rest of the game for it, if the Bulls had achieved anything on the pitch under his watch he'd be on the way to the same kind of unpopularity Caisley has.'"
But it only 'went places' because money was being spent that wasn't there. I could travel the world on my credit card but would eventually face the consequences.
What's the point in 'going places' if your ultimate destination is bankruptcy and chaos.
Caisley rubbed people up the wrong way and offended them because he was arrogant and offensive. Nothing more, nothing less.
Just because he throws a few names into a conversation with the T&A does not make him a legitimate option for leadership of the club.
