I've not seen it anywhere else here, but Lomax's flick pass to Gidley whilst going into contact, which put us four points ahead, was absolutely unreal. I'd been pretty pleased with Lomax's progress this season, but he seems to have really excelled in the halves in the last couple of games. Well played Tin Head.

I agree about Lomax's pass. It was special. But he seems to have come into his own since playing in his chosen position. I hope he gets good game time next season: not because of injury but to grow him into the position at first grade. He looks good at halfback.

Nearly as good? Not bad for someone 6 years his junior - if he's nearly as good now, then imagine how much better he'll be when he's 26
