I think in the case of Hock, it'd be more likely to be the RSPCA.

He will opt for an early exit sooner or later. Am sure there will be much wailing again, about what a great person and hero he was. I would prefer to put it down to darwinian selection.

Hock getting 2 match ban is a joke, he started the brawl, he should be banned for life. we don't need his sort in the game, the game is tough enough without thugs like him in it. His drug ban was bad enough and this conduct just proves what a idiot he is. Put him down like a mad dog he is.

Apparently, Hock is appealing his ban.

I'd love to know what their defense case is. The Wigan club really do lack class, very similar to the way Liverpool have behaved over the past 12-18 months.

So whilst we saw Hock try to steal the head at the scrum and then try to batter LMS when he stood up to him, what actually happened was LMS headbutted poor Gareth, then threw a series of punches at him, forcing him to retaliate.



Despite him this week receiving a formal written warning from the RFL for his conduct during the derby at Langtree Park. You simply couldn't make this up.

But luckily, the panel saw through this and noted:



I can't wait to see what levels Wane will take it to next. An appeal from his Grandmother? An impassioned plea for leniency from Aung San Suu Kyi? I seriously hope they add to his ban, after the conclusions made to this hearing, it would be utterly ridiculous if they didn't.

Nice wording regarding Hock's previous record. What they have forgot to mention is that four months befor Wane re-joined Wigan Hock was banned for taking drugs.

I know the RFL are dim, but surely they won't be fooled by this propaganda!

I've had chance to watch it back several times now. Hock is clearly the idiot who after several years playing Rugby can't pack his head down in the scrum correctly.

LMS pushes his head back inside. LMS pushed forward in the scrum, but heads are now out of position and aimed at shoulder level rather than tucked under same for hocks head. So when LMS pushes forwards, Hock is pushed back. Hock does not like this and lifts the back of his head into LMS's face. (this is the closest thing to a head butt and it's only because he is using the back of his head that I assume the discipline committee have ignored this, if they are going to appeal, the appeal committee could see this differently and raise an additional charge of head butting).

LMS takes offense to this he and hock stand up face off. Hock grabs LMS head in his hand, but rather than a snog it's so when the rest of the players come rushing around to seperate them he can get some cheap jabs in. Luckily LMS has grabbed Hock around the waist, so Hock can get no distance to swing at him and hits land in the stomach or chest area.

If LMS had not been pinned so close, hock would have been swinging into his head.

Anything else mentioned by Ape and Herman Munster are simply smoke to try and reduce any sentence.
