They should be some reduction from the cap for home grown players.

Don't believe everything written in the paper. It is amazing that Martin Offiah is kyle's agent and he has a good friend on the MEN sports department to create these stories. According to one of the backroom staff at Sale, they haven't looked at Kyle, because, he isn't what they require to supplement their playing personnel at this present moment in time. They are tracking a rugby league player, but, he wouldn't say who or which club he plays for.Plus he added that League players tend not to make it in rugby union, because, of the technical side to it and not enough experience in this sport to exploit weakness of their opponents in games.

That and the fact Kyle goes down like he's been shot if a player farts near him...

Stephen Myler, one of the test players to play in SL is heading towards an England cap. Maybe it is only the decent players that have trouble handling the 'technicalities'.

If Eastmond is only interested in money - despite not yet having developed a worth for it - then he's probably not the right man for the job anyway.

Saints should not break the bank as we no he has potential but he's not commanded any games for us yet

The RFL and clubs need to come up with some sort of initative to save the young British players being poaching i.e Myler & Ashton at Northampton and Smith at Wasps...

Players like Westerman, Eastmond, Tomkins, Myler, Burgess, Hall etc... need to be protected and kept within Rugby League... we need our priorities in order... GET YOUR WALLETS OUT SAINTS!

As gut wrenching as it seems, its folly to throw stupid money at him when he's still unproven, regardless of his potential. If a RU club (many of whom are reportadly struggling financially) want to spend extra to poach the odd talent, then let them. There'll be another Kyle eastmond.

I would be relatively happy with Moore at 7 for a season, before moving to 9 when the King goes. Eastmond certainly can't play any important role within the team if he's on his way. Moore has also yet to commit beyond 2010 though...

I really don't know what the fuss is, it's just an agent trying to get the best deal for his client. The agent is good at getting made up stories into the MEN and spreading rumours. That's his job. I'm sure McManus is wise to this sort of thing.

I really don't know why people get upset about these things. It will only get more so in the future as more agents become more media savvy.

It's Wigooners wanting us to get all hyped up in the same manner in which they did over Ashton. They expect us to be hypocritical and place the blame for any depatures at the foot of the salary cap. What they don't realise is that we are able to view the salary cap for what it is and not for what they perceive it to be. In their opinion we should be storming the gates of the RFL demanding a change to the cap in the same way they have been harping on about incessantly for the past decade. They can't understand why we aren't responding in the same petulant and ill-conceived way in which many of them have and do. Please note this is not all Wigooners just the short-sighted ones.

If it's true drop him for the rest of the season be that 1 match or two, let him go now and get a transfer fee.

If he isn't going to be here in 2011 then we have no loyalty to him. If he is going then put him in the reserves for the year.

The fact that the initial suggestion that Eastmond was even contemplating going to Yawnion was made by Rogues Gallery i.e. a desperate attempt to undermine Saints via some messageboard comments, which is where most RL transfer stories come from these days e.g. McGoldrick to Wigoon. There's even one from yesterday about Maurie going to Harlequins RL even though he's just moved into a new house in the area. It's nothing new. In the early years of Super League there was constant rumour-mongering started on messageboards by Wigooners about Cunningham going to join Wigoon. He's still here.

The sooner people realise that most of this talk is just rubbish set in motion in public houses and asylums for the mentally insane the better. I mean, I heard a rumour that Maurie was complaining about Potter stifling his natural game yet the guy has improved no end on the back of cutting out the silly 'natural' aspects of his game.
