Does anyone know the gentleman that was hit by a car near the Gas Club on Sunday after the game ?
If so , is he ok ?

think I saw him getting into an ambulance.....if it was him he was walking and looked OK but very shaken....

fingers crossed there was no serious damage.....

He didn't seem too badly injured when I was talking to him . I left him when the ambulance arrived . No obvious serious injuries . Was bleeding from the mouth . The lad was knocking on a bit though , and minor injuries can turn nasty when you ain't as young as you once were .
The young lass that hit him was very upset . I wonder which window she was looking out of when she was driving down that road . Although she did have kids in the car that could have been distracting her there were clearly hundreds of people walking up the road . She should have stopped .

didn't see it happen but gotta admit was wondering just how someone could run into someone given how many were walking down t'road....

Hoping he is ok . I am still suffering from twisting my ankle on the kerb in almost the same spot pre-match . The stewards in the ground were very helpful , although I missed a bit of the game due to them . There were three of them taking my details etc , and applying ice-packs to my foot . As much as I appreciated their concern and help I was rather wishing they would get out of the way .

They were very keen to assist . I was impressed . Nothing wrong with a bit of pampering is there . They could have brought me some cake with the ice-packs .

Saw it happen. Felt sorry for the driver as much as the old guy. The guy jappeared to just step out of a crowd into the road. Don't know who the moron was who yanked open the driver's door and yelled at the distraught woman but it didn't help at all.

Probably the type of moron who is naturally aggressive, always reacts without thinking and more than likely drives like a demented, road-raging pillock who'd drive off without stopping if involved in similar circumstances.
