How much impact can we have on the playoffs?

The last 2 games have been poor but before that we were performing decently. In fact many were silently confident of a potential double.

We've lost peacock. But we are champions. We need to adapt our game. We probably don't have the forward muscle but we still have the speed and class. We get a second bite at the cherry. We are looking pretty wounded. If we do get into that situation where we are a choice for the club call, a team may well pick us - motivation.

If you betting on it though, you'd probably bet on a wigan saints grand final.

also, can we have some proper opnions from respected posters.

FWIW i think we'll go out in the final eliminator at either saints or wigan and it;ll be a saints wigan grand final.

Leeds lose to Wigan next week.
We win the game after that.
Wigan choose to play Leeds.
Wigan beat Leeds.
Saints vs Wigan GF.
Saints win.

If we can tighten our defence up we will be a threat imo.
I liked Senior in the 2nd row yesterday but that does leave questions out wide if Smithy isn't fit although another option could be Ablett.
Of course then the question would be why swop a back-rower and a centre from their natural places i'm not gonna write us off and IF we can put a performance together i honestly think we can beat anyone in this league it's a case now of who we have available and whether or not they can reproduce previous play-off form.

They way Cas got at Saints yesterday i would'nt put money on them reaching the GF just yet.

True. But I just think in 2nd place they have a good platform to make the grand final, even if they aren't brilliant.

And once in the grand final I just think they have that x factor to win the big game that wigan don't have. (yes i know whats happened the past 3 years but it's wigan, not grand final specialists leeds )

Hull V Hull KR is 50/50.

I'd marginally favour Saints.

Warrington won't beat Saints. Saints won't beat Leeds. Leeds won't beat Wigan. Wigan won't beat Warrington. Could be interesting. Huddersfield have a chance too.

Personally I'd like to see a Wire v Saints GF but can you imagine the bleating from the Pies about being the 'rightful champions' if that did occur? Doesn't bear thinking about. Would be funny though!

wigan are stumbling a little bit, saints are leaking points all over the place,we are very hit and miss and warrington seem to be on a roll.

We will win the GF. There I said it.

We will lose to Wigan, beat "whoever", then win whatever game comes up. Leeds vs. Saints again is my prediction. Mystic Chris has spoken. Bollox on the line etc. (although it may be the rugby club cider talking).

I wouldn't rule Leeds out of beating Wigan, but I am pretty convinced Saints will get to and win the Grand Final without breaking sweat.
