I've never paid the prediction comp any attention in the past but decided to enter it this season for the first time. On doing so I was, initially, only interested in tracking my own scores and nothing more than that.

You should all know by now though that I'm not aversed to creating a spreadsheet where a list is in the offing.

That done here are the findingsWeek One - No problems

Week Two - 7 Mistakes - Too Many Points Awarded (The Biffs Back), 6 Posters Had Too Few Points Awarded.

Week Three - 6 Mistakes - Too Many Points Awarded (SeniorFan, rugbyleague8icon_cool.gif, 4 Posters Had Too Few Points Awarded.

Week Four - 3 Mistakes - 3 Posters Had Too Few Points Awarded.

There are 11 posters in total who are owed points (incredibly one poster has been underscored in weeks 2, 3 and 4 for a total of 4 points) but if the eleven cannot be bothered to check their own scores each week then I'm not sure I can be bothered to help them out either.

And Frosties, sorry mate but you owe it to Southstander to not have these mistakes in the first place or let them go uncorrected.

If it's got yer goat up that much the least you could do is point the lad in the direction of the posters where the scores are incorrect.

The least I could do is nothing at all.

I've stated which posters had too many points credited and in which week the errors occurred.

As for the rest, as I've said already, if individuals can't be bothered keeping track of their points earned, why should I?

I'm sure Frosties will be grateful that someone has taken an interest.

I'm sure he will but it does come across as though you are having a dig at the lad when he volunteers to do it in his own time and in the past he's recognised his mistakes and rectified them.
As for keeping tack of the incorrect scores you must be bothered otherwise why check and then mention it?

I just trust frosties with it. At the end of the day, it's a bit of fun and there's no point getting on his back.

I dont. He's too busy on the SS wing when Salford are at HQ

I always check my own scores, at the end of the season check Frosties if he isnt in the playoffs because he might go on a really good run somehow

There is a massive cash prize involved so it is a serious business

I've run prediction comps before on the net and you can check and check but sometimes you make mistakes. Spreadsheets make mistakes less likely though.

Like bad refereeing decisions it'll no doubt even itself out over the season. All Frosties has to do is wait til the end of the season, let TVOC tell him how many points his score should be adjusted by, then apply the same to everyone else. About 80 points is my guess.

Guess missing a fulls weeks of predictions doesnt do your score any good

Someone check mine for me please... Theres a £5 charity donation in it at the end of the year between me & Glen Quagmire so it is quite important
