It annoys me that after the World Cup they don't plan a week off for this fixture. IMO there should be a squad of 25-30 getting together for this match and training together.

Me too. I see it as the ideal opportunity to get abroad and get some sunshine on the back.

If you don't mind the SL season starting the last week in January you could have a week off mid-season for internationals.

Salford v Catalans has been postponed to be played Tuesday July 21st.

Last season Les Catalans were allowed to delay their game away at Wakefield until the Tuesday following the Friday night(?) international and thay went onto win 14-30 as well.

Perhaps they'll do something similar with their Salford game this year.
