Most of them are sh.it and annoying. Infact - all of them are and annoying. None more so than the f-cking Pogues song. I don't mind Wizzard, Slade, Mud, Glitter, Stevens and co when I'm blitzed out on the sofa Xmas day. But thats because I'm blitzed out and its on quite loud resulting in not being able to listen to family members jive talk all day.

Call me an old scrooge (you're an old scrooge) but most popular carols leave me cringing with the sheer crappy saccharine sentimentality of it all.
